I went to a benefit for someone very special to me last night.

Last night I went to a benefit for my old teacher I had in fifth and sixth grade… he had a brain tumor, and the doctor said that he had only had a five percent chance of survival. I was upset when I heard about this because he’s not just an old teacher of mine…. he’s a best friend. So when I went to his benefit, i was SO happy to finally see him! He looks great, and he is MUCH  better now that the tumor is finally gone. He is very close to God as well and I think that’s one of the many things we have in common 🙂 He’s is my best friend and I am thankful that i got to see him again….he’s is the best. 🙂

My relationship with God

I’ve been going to church since I was born…. but i actually started to understand the meaning about a year ago. I go to an amazing church, know awesome kids there, and I’m also waiting for a new youth pastor! I love it so much! I go every Sunday and Wednesday for youth group. I have met the nicest people ever and I have built a relationship with most of them. I benefit from church greatly. I have regular problems at home… so I take what I learn from youth group and i try to perfect my relationship with the family.

The Battle of Gettysburg reasearch Paper…

During the course of my home school experience, I have had to write papers on things I thought were easy…. but my mind has been changed. I am doing a paper on the battle of Gettysburg. I have to find information in books at the library, the internet and from text books, but this is the hardest thing EVER! I have been working on it for about one and a half months now and I swear it could most likely be the death of me! I can tell I am learning great things about it, but at the same time…… I really am struggling.

I really like music… it’s been my positive alternative for when I’m feeling down. I like to draw a lot. Drawing is half of my life in a way. If someone HAD to know something about me, it would be that my favorite band in the world is Skillet. 🙂

I have a sister, two dogs, and a loving mother in my family. My grandma home-schools me (and I love spending the extra time with her)
